Green Island, Hanover, Jamaica | May 11–14, 2026 — Destination Jamaica warmly welcomed Love Caribbean, Jamaica Edition 2026, as destination wedding planners, travel advisors, photographers, videographers, and tourism professionals from across the globe convered at the exquisite Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica for several days of networking, education, partnership building, and celebration within the global wedding and romance travel industry.
As one of the Caribbean’s premier wedding destinations, Jamaica received high praise from delegates attending the conference, along with the newly restored Princess property, which officially reopened March 1, 2026, following damage sustained during the Category 5 hurricane season. Today, there is scarcely a trace of the storm’s impact. Guests strolling through the expansive resort experienced a seamless blend of restored elegance, old-world charm, and contemporary luxury.
Many may not realize that travel planners, photographers, and videographers belong to one of the world’s leading destination wedding organizations — the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals (IADWP). Membership within the organization offers access to a vibrant international community through professional networking, educational opportunities, global events, and strategic industry partnerships.
The event’s photo montage captures moments from May 12–14, highlighting both the conference and bustling marketplace where suppliers and buyers met to cultivate partnerships and finalize business opportunities. Professionals representing destinations and companies from the Caribbean, Europe, and the Americas lined the conference halls in an atmosphere charged with creativity, commerce, and cultural exchange.
On May 13, Terrica Skaggs, Master of Ceremonies, wedding industry speaker, and business coach from the United States, graced the stage during the opening sessions, turning heads in an elegant white scalloped designer dress.
Philip Rose, Deputy Director of Tourism for the USA, Latin America, and the Caribbean, captivated the audience with his dynamic presentation, skillfully woven with infectious humor and heartfelt reflections from his own wedding journey that kept attendees fully engaged.
The conference featured an impressive lineup of internationally respected speakers and industry experts, including:
- Brenda O’Neale, Ambassador, Love Caribbean
- Brian Green, Visionary & Creative Architect, By Brian Green LLC (Barbados)
- Marsha-Ann Donaldson, Corporate Director, Weddings & Romance, Sandals Resorts International
- Nadia Sparkle, Travel with Sparkle Lifestyle Travel Agency
- Monica Bali, Bespoke Travel Experiences (Italy)
- Atosha Barboza, House of Barboza, International Floral & Event Designer (USA)
The showcase opened with tremendous energy and concluded beneath a breathtaking display of fireworks that transformed the Jamaican night sky into what many described as “Christmas in May” on the island peninsula.
As wedding bells continue to ring across the Caribbean and beyond, destinations are already preparing for the next editions of Love Caribbean. Fireworks burst across the heavens like brilliant stars suspended in motion — a dazzling signal marking the close of Love Caribbean Jamaica Edition 2026. Waves of color and light performed their own happiness dance across the skies, delighting more than 250 destination wedding professionals gathered at the resort.
With unforgettable splendor, anticipation now turns toward upcoming editions including Destination 2026 St. Lucia Caribbean, followed by events in Europe and the Americas, as well as Love Antigua Guatemala (July 13–16), Love Mexico, Yucatán (October 19–22), and Love Italy: Tuscany to Puglia (November 4–11, 2026).
