NEGRIL, JAMAICA — The sacred grounds of the Temple of Inner Peace in West Cliff Estate, Negril, radiated with cultural pride, reverence, and Divine Feminine energy on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, 2025, as the third annual Queenology Meets Rootsology Lifetime Achievement Awards was celebrated in honor of Phenomenal Women.
The event took place between 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., with a spiritually grounded and artfully curated experience produced by Co-founder Queen Denise Isis Miller, in collaboration with Princess Sharon Oshun Chambers and Chief Theo Chambers, Co-Founders of the Temple of Inner Peace.
Under the theme “Honoring the Sacred Feminine, Celebrating the Legacy of Queens,” the event opened with ceremonial sageing and libations by Queen Mother Gaama Gloria Simms that called forth ancestral memory, re-membering our past and bridging it with our spiritual presence (Sankofa) and connection to Mother Earth. Guests were welcomed by hosts Queen Denise Isis Miller and Princess Sharon Oshun Chambers, who gracefully set the tone for a day dedicated to honoring powerful women whose lives and work exemplify community upliftment and cultural excellence.
The 2025 Lifetime Achievement Honorees included a distinguished list of cultural icons, community leaders, and visionary women:

Princess Sharon Oshun Chambers, offered heartfelt appreciation to the honorees, guests, musical performers, and sponsors who made the event a success. She also recognized Dr. George Love, Imhotep Kemetic Priest & Asian Physician (Del Ray, Florida) for his lively and engaging discourse sharing his experiences of enlightenment in Africa.
A special announcement was made by Denise Isis Miller and Chief Theo Chambers regarding the installation of the New Mama Fyah Kitchen at the Temple of Inner Peace. This kitchen is being established in honor of the Late Mama Fiyah, the revered Nyabinghi Queen Mother of Jamaica. In attendance at the dedication were Papa Fiyah, Rebecca Daye Fyiah, Sarah Daye, and Andrew Gordon, representing the legacy of this powerful matriarch.
